Before you build

Arrange a site inspection and obtain written proposals. Use licensed professionals for surveying, design, engineering and regulated work. Confirm approvals with your council or relevant authority.

How estimates work

Teralith combines your stated budget, supplied measurements, location and complexity factors to create broad Basic, Standard and Premium allowances. You may estimate the project area from a photo by marking a known length and tracing the surface. That photo calibration assumes the reference and traced surface are on roughly the same plane; perspective, slope and lens distortion can materially affect the result. Photo-derived dimensions are planning estimates, not survey measurements. All allowances are planning guides, not contractor quotes. Material choices, access, demolition, services and site conditions can materially change the final price.

How Smart Measure works

Smart Measure asks an AI model to propose the visible project boundary and useful reference points. You confirm one real-world length, then Teralith uses deterministic geometry to calculate a planning estimate. The AI does not set the final area and Teralith does not assume that a fence, paver, door or other object has a standard size.

Smart Measure is not a survey, engineering measurement or construction set-out. Perspective, slope, multiple levels, hidden edges, obstructions and lens distortion can materially affect the result. Verify all dimensions on site with an appropriately qualified professional before ordering materials, pricing final work or starting construction.

How DIY Project Packs work

A Project Pack converts the selected concept scope into a planning bill of materials and ordered work path. Public, location-relevant prices are shown only while the source is current enough to support the range. Unsupported or stale items are marked “Confirm with supplier” and are not silently added to the numeric DIY total.

Teralith provides detailed sequences only for work classified as suitable for DIY or DIY with stated conditions. Electrical, structural, pool, drainage and other regulated or higher-risk work is presented as an outcome-based brief for an appropriately qualified professional—not as construction instructions. Unknown work defaults to professional review. Always stop if site conditions, services, approvals or the work required differ from the pack.
